In the Shower or Bath:
Sprinkle a few drops of essential oil in the shower or bath for a pick-me-up. Eucalyptus and Tea Tree oil are great for early mornings.
In Your Car:
Add a few drops to a cotton ball and put it in your glove compartment in your car. Orange is a great oil to try and the fresh citrus aroma will uplift your spirit. If you use Peppermint oil, the aroma will keep you focused and alert, and keep headaches at bay.
Reduce the risk of allowing bacteria and viruses to spread at holiday parties by diffusing antimicrobial oils in a diffuser. Essential oil blends can also be used around the holidays to create a festive mood.
Try this holiday blend of essential oils:
Cinnamon Bark or Leaf
Clove Bud
Thyme
Pine or Fir Needle
Frankincense
Myrrh
*Be careful when using Cinnamon Bark, since it is not meant for topical application on skin, is sensitizing, and can cause an allergic reaction if it comes in contact with the skin. Clove Bud can also be irritating to skin.
